The following is a list of customized skill modifications implemented on this Ark Project. These changes may include damage scaling, mechanics adjustments, or additional utility to better suit the custom server environment and balance needs.
Skill Type: Active / Defensive
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Effect: Instantly blocks all types of physical attacks, including physical-based skills (e.g., Bowling Bash, Sonic Blow, Arrow Storm) during the counter window.
Mechanics:
When activated, the user enters a defensive stance for a limited duration based on skill level.
During this time, all incoming physical attacks (melee or ranged, including physical skills) are nullified.
This provides full immunity to physical damage while the skill is active.
Skill Duration (based on level):
Level 1: 1 second
Level 2: 2 seconds
Level 3: 3 seconds
Level 4: 4 seconds
Level 5: 5 seconds
Skill Type: Offensive / AoE
Weapon Requirement: Revolver
Ammunition Used: 10 bullets
Cast Range: Self-centered (AoE)
Area of Effect: 12x12 cells (around the caster)
Hit Count: Random per enemy (minimum 3 hits, maximum 10 hits)
Skill Behavior:
A short-range, physical burst attack that hits all enemies in range.
Treated as a close-range attack, allowing it to bypass Pneuma.
Each enemy in the AoE is hit randomly between 3 and 10 times.
Has a 10% chance to inflict the "Curse" status on each target hit.
Damage Scaling (Per Hit):
Lv1: 100% ATK
Lv2: 150% ATK
Lv3: 200% ATK
Lv4: 250% ATK
Lv5: 300% ATK
Lv6: 350% ATK
Lv7: 400% ATK
Lv8: 450% ATK
Lv9: 500% ATK
Lv10: 550% ATK
Status Effect:
10% chance per cast to apply [Curse] to affected targets.
Targets afflicted with Curse have reduced movement speed and decreased LUK, making them more vulnerable to further status effects and crits.
Skill Type: Movement / Utility
Requirement: User must be in Hiding state
Functionality: Allows the user to instantly teleport to a target cell within a specific range, while remaining hidden.
Modified Mechanic: Can now be used while the user is hidden, unlike the original version which typically required un-hiding first.
Range by Level:
Lv1: 7 cells
Lv2: 9 cells
Lv3: 11 cells
Lv4: 13 cells
Lv5: 15 cells
Skill Type: Offensive / Magic AoE
Cast Time: Instant
Cast Delay: 0.3 seconds
Effect: Summons a large flame explosion that deals massive MATK-based damage to all enemies within the skill’s area.
Damage Scaling:
Lv1: +450% MATK
Lv2: +600% MATK
Lv3: +750% MATK
Lv4: +900% MATK
Lv5: +1100% MATK
Use Case:
Designed for high burst-damage output in both PvP and PvE scenarios.
Effective against mobs or tightly grouped players.
Cast delay ensures it isn’t spammable but still quick enough for rapid rotations.
